QC Visual Inspector
RTD Embedded Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Visual Inspector to inspect assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in high-reliability embedded computing systems. This position is responsible for identifying workmanship defects and verifying compliance with internal quality standards and AS9100/ISO 9001 procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting both surface mount (SMT) and through-hole assemblies and will be comfortable following documented inspection procedures and workmanship standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of assembled PCBs and electronic assemblies
- Identify defects related to soldering, component placement, polarity, cleanliness, and workmanship
- Verify compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality procedures and manufacturing documentation
- Accurately document inspection results and nonconformances
- Work closely with production personnel to support product quality and continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of experience with through-hole and surface mount PCB soldering and/or inspection
- Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards
- Experience working within AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-reliability environments
