American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center in Charleston, SC.

Located in the MRI department on the first floor of the main hospital building

321-bed Level II Trauma Center and Thrombectomy Capable stroke center
-
Equipment includes GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI scanners

Documentation system: Meditech
-
Procedures include MRI/MRA Brain, Abdomen, MRCP, Spine, Upper and Lower Extremity, Cardiac, Breast, Orbit, Liver and Adrenal mass, IAC Brain, Brachial Plexus, Spectroscopy, MRA Neck, and Soft Tissue Neck

Schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night shift)

On-call required Friday through Sunday, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every 4–5 weekends

13-week contract
-
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; active MRI experience within the last 6 months required

ARRT (MRI) registration required
-
Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
-
Must have active U.S. SSN and provide date of birth for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

License required if applicable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Performs a wide range of MRI and MRA studies across multiple body systems including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, cardiac, and breast imaging

Gray scrubs required

Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
