Job Summary

Duties
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling all retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management with integrity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the shopping experience and encouraging sales.
- Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays through effective merchandising techniques.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to boost sales.
- Maintain phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, participating in stock replenishment, and ensuring products are properly labeled and organized.
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and retail sales transactions is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or during peak hours.
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising strategies, and basic retail math for accurate pricing and inventory control.
- Ability to perform cashiering duties with accuracy using cash registers or POS systems while handling cash drawer operations securely.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
- Basic math skills for calculating totals, discounts, and change confidently.
- Enthusiasm for product demos and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales goals.
