American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma Center
-
Short term acute care hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
-
13-week assignment length
-
On-call responsibilities as needed
-
Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis
-
Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius
-
Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required
-
No pending licensure accepted
-
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required, 3+ years preferred

Level I Trauma experience required

Large hospital experience preferred
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
ADN accepted for this position
-
At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required

Driver's license copy required for consideration

Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall during the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only two occur during the assignment

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Candidates with at least 3+ years of recent experience may be considered as an exception to the first-time traveler restriction

Local candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered

Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Former travelers who completed a full year assignment must wait 1 full year before returning
-
Weekend block scheduling may be considered and can be discussed during the interview

All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
