Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across diverse construction projects. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute precise plumbing layouts
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and subcontractors to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless project flow
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as Fastest Pipe to assist in cost control, pricing, and project budgeting
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements
- Manage contracts related to plumbing work, ensuring scope adherence and quality standards are met
- Use digital tools like Procore for document review, markup, and communication across project teams
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation
Experience
- Proven journeyperson plumber certification with relevant construction site experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction environments
- Experience with construction management processes including scheduling, cost control, and contract management
- Familiarity with construction estimating software such as FastPipe or similar tools
- Skilled in negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize costs without compromising quality
- Hands-on experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret blueprints accurately for precise installation work

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
