Summary of Position:
Individual must possess the physical ability and mental capability to perform the duty of operating CNC mills and lathes, router, and waterjet, safely and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform work daily in a machine shop, lifting, moving, loading and unloading material into mills and lathes
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to determine and document materials to be used for specific jobs
Be flexible to assist in other areas as needed or required by shop management
Maintain production requirements relating to quantity and quality
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years experience required
Must possess ability to program conversational controls on CNC mills and lathes, router, and waterjet
Possess mathematical skills, specifically being able to add and subtract fractions and decimals
Ability to read prints and spec sheets
Ability to lift and/or handle material up to 50 pounds
Possess a familiarity with mics, calipers, gauges and other measurement tools
Possess the ability to work safely in all situations
Ability to read a tape measure in 16ths of an inch
Ability to work with others
Ability to drive a lift truck a plus, though not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
