Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn more about bartending and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
- Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Support the team during busy periods by bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe service.
- Familiarity with Toast or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
