We are seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and passionate about food preparation and kitchen excellence. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and that all ingredients and menu items are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications.
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations.
- Label, date, and properly store all prepared items.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation using FIFO methods.
- Support line cooks and chefs during service as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional prep cook or commercial kitchen experience required.
- Experienced applicants only; entry-level candidates will not be considered.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire kitchen team.
