Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5–7+ years of experience in the insurance restoration and construction industry. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of insurance claims, restoration project management, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects from start to finish while maintaining exceptional communication with homeowners, insurance adjusters, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
● Manage residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects from initial loss through final completion.
● Coordinate directly with insurance adjusters and carriers throughout the claims process.
● Prepare, negotiate, and manage supplemental insurance claims.
● Develop detailed project schedules and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
● Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
● Create and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and maximize profitability.
● Perform site visits and quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction.
● Maintain consistent communication with customers, insurance representatives, and internal staff.
● Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and local building codes.
● Resolve project challenges quickly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
● Maintain accurate documentation and project records.
Qualifications
● 5–7+ years of project management experience in insurance restoration and reconstruction (required).
● Extensive experience working with insurance companies and adjusters.
● Proven experience preparing and negotiating supplemental claims.
● Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.
● Proficiency with Xactimate (required). THIS IS A MUST
● Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Strong budgeting, estimating, and scheduling experience.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
● IICRC certifications are a plus.
● Experience with water, fire, storm, mold, and reconstruction projects.
● Experience using project management software and CRM systems.
