Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Coverage Needed: Early September start – Ongoing (3+ months)

Position Overview
Rx Relief is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Temporary Pharmacist for an ongoing assignment near Columbia, MO. This role offers stable weekday hours with no weekend or on-call coverage, no direct patient contact, and comprehensive training on site automation and order entry systems.
Highlights & Schedule
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Holidays Off: Pharmacy is closed on all Missouri state holidays
- Work-Life Balance: Zero weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities
- Environment: Limited to no direct patient contact; supportive on-site staff available for guidance and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities
- Packager Technician Verification: Primary responsibility includes providing pharmacist checks for technicians assigned to automated packagers (including checking flagged bags, repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling canisters).
- Barcode Checking: Perform final checks on medications using barcode scanning technology after filling by technicians.
- Order Verification: Conduct limited order verification as required.
- Quality & Accuracy: Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and quality standards.
Training & Systems
- Order Entry & Site Automation: Comprehensive training will be provided on all site-specific automation systems and order entry software.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Missouri Pharmacist License (Required)
- High attention to detail and strong focus on verification accuracy
- Ability to work comfortably in an automated setting
