About Us:
Bright Nĩnos is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Our center offers a range of services including therapy, educational programs, and community outreach. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team and help us continue our mission of making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the autism center's administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and families, providing a welcoming environment and supporting the administrative team with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, families, and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the center’s calendar.
- Assist in preparing and distributing documents, reports, and other materials.
- Manage office supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Handle data entry and maintain accurate records in both digital and physical formats.
- Support the administrative team with various tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in organizing events, meetings, and workshops held at the center.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Office Assistant or relevant administrative role are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with autism and their families is highly valued.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 75 per week
