LICENSED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
DESCRIPTION:
Deliver Occupational Therapy services to school age students as per IEPs.
Preschool through high school potential caseload. May work at, and travel to, multiple
buildings and may supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Knowledge and skill with assistive technology and medical/health needs of students
with multiple disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
OTR/L, masters preferred
ESA certificate. (or willing to obtain)
State health department License must be obtained
School based occupational therapist experience preferred
Knowledge and experience in working with children with disabilities
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with other employees,
parents, and students where everyone is treated with dignity and respect
Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality in all matters pertaining to students,
parents, staff, and program
The development and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring,
and scheduling and conducting IEP meetings in a timely manner in compliance with
state and federal guidelines are essential functions of this position.
Responding to stressful situations appropriately.
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
All positions are on site and in person only.
Wages – Certified Occupational Therapist $55,618 to $109,699 DOE (This range is based off of the
2024/2025 wage scale)
Benefits - Medical, Retirement, Basic Life/AD&D, Basic Long-Term Disability, FSA & HSA. Any
employee anticipated to work at least 630 hours in the school year is eligible for benefits.
