Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our community programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing program development, ensuring quality service delivery, and fostering strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent management skills and a passion for social work and behavioral health services. The Program Director will play a vital role in guiding staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Lead and supervise program staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, community agencies, and stakeholders to promote program growth and collaboration.
- Oversee administrative functions including documentation, reporting, compliance with licensing requirements, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, oversee client intake processes, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Lead efforts in program development to expand services and improve existing offerings based on community needs.
- Ensure adherence to behavioral health standards and best practices in social work.
- Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance effectiveness.
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities with experience supervising teams.
- Proven expertise in program development and program management within social services or related fields.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Excellent relationship management skills to build partnerships with community organizations, clients, and families.
- Solid administrative experience including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and leading team initiatives.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and social work principles is highly desirable.
