We are looking for full-time leads with 2+ years of experience to add to our team! To succeed at IDC, you will need to be a team player who shares our vision and goals, operates with integrity, stays coachable and open to learning new skills and shows up every day with the right attitude and effort. Compensation for this position will vary based on experience.
Job Duties:
- Read and follow blueprints and building plans to meet client expectations
- Install structures, fixtures and perform both rough and finish carpentry
- Use power tools and hand tools
- Removing and installing decks with our exclusive composite line
- Removing and installing pergolas
- Deliver detailed, high quality workmanship on every project
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands on environment
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
- Travel to different job sites as needed (typically in WI)
- Lead a crew and report to the production manager
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
- Rough and finish carpentry
- Wood and/or steel stud framing
- Experience with decking and outdoor structure
- Use of power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of remodeling techniques and practices
- Know how to measure and cut material
- Knowledge of framing and finishing techniques
Job Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within WI
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel and bend for extended period of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (ground to shoulder) and 80 lbs (ground to carry height)
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean job site
