American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Structural Heart Cardiology position requiring 2+ years of care coordination experience, Epic proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

Position is based in a Structural Heart unit within a hospital setting
-
This role is less patient-facing than a typical RN position, with a primary focus on administrative care coordination duties such as referrals and follow-ups
-
Structural heart and cardiac background is preferred but not required
-
10-hour day shifts, with 8:00 AM–6:00 PM hours highly preferred; 8-hour or 12-hour shifts may be considered

40 hours per week
-
No nights, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required

Floating is not required
-
Epic EMR experience is required

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Current BLS certification (AHA) required

Minimum 2 years of experience in a care coordinator role required; 4+ years highly preferred

Triage experience required

Level 1 trauma experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous travel experience is not required

Primary responsibilities include coordinating care for patients on the Structural Heart unit, including referrals and follow-ups

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration

Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a 6-month separation from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
