Position Summary
HomeWorx Home Services is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Residential Journeyman Plumber to join our service team. You will independently diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an active Texas Journeyman (or higher) Plumber license and ensure full compliance with all state and local plumbing regulations.
- Continuously improve all plumbing operations to meet quality, safety, and code standards.
· Communicating with the Customer, you will solve customer problems with their water and plumbing systems.
· Diagnosing the Issue – after thoroughly investigating and diagnosing the plumbing issue, you will prepare options for the homeowner that address solving the problems.
· Completing Whole Home Plumbing Inspections – You will offer to your customer and conduct a whole home plumbing inspections, discovering ongoing or potential issues. Providing customers with suggestions and options to solve plumbing problems before they happen is what we do best.
· Participate in weekly training sessions, team huddles, and strategy meetings.
· Perform plumbing system troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and system upgrades.
· Embody a culture of professionalism, including clean appearance, uniform standards, strong communication, and five-star service delivery.
· Collect payment and customer feedback at the conclusion of each service call.
· Ensure HomeWorx vehicles, tools, and materials are properly maintained and organized.
· Promote a safety-first mindset across all job sites.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Journeyman Plumber License (required).
- Strong technical knowledge across residential plumbing systems.

Physical Demands
- Ability to perform the physical duties of a working plumber, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, and utility rooms.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights when required.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Visual and auditory ability sufficient to safely perform plumbing tasks and communicate with customers and team members.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
