We are seeking reliable and motivated CDL and Non-CDL Hotshot Owner Operators with a 40-foot trailer to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering freight on time while maintaining compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Owner operators will enjoy consistent freight, 24/7 dispatch support, and the opportunity to maximize their earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to customers throughout the United States.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure all loads are transported safely.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and required shipping documents.
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and delivery updates.
- Deliver freight on time while providing excellent customer service.
- Keep truck and trailer clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A (or qualifying Non-CDL license for eligible equipment).
- Clean MVR
- Current DOT medical certificate
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing ( Background Friendly)
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to safely secure and transport freight.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous OTR hotshot experience.
- Experience using ELD systems.
- Knowledge of load securement and freight documentation.
- Ability to stay out on the road for extended periods.
