Description:
Job Description: Responsible for operating the cableway and instructing Campers on riding guidelines, best practices, and safety during their ride and time at the park.

Instruct the campers on the proper usage of equipment and life jackets.

Teaching the campers, the cable rules (i.e. safety rules, proper exiting, buoys, etc.)

Assisting the campers with any problems.

Monitoring camper’s conduct and enforcing riding rules.

Retrieving ropes, boards, etc., when needed.

Overseeing the safety of fallen skiers and assisting the campers out of the lake if needed and if qualified.

Coordinating daily schedule with other counselors and team

Following all safety rules and serving as a leading example to others.

Attending seminars and safety meetings on a regular basis.

Dispatch campers safely and quickly.

Diagnose problems and inform the manager on duty if an unusual problem occurs.
Requirements:

Able to clean facilities.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Must maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance.
-
Minimum availability of Monday-Friday 9:30 am-4:30 pm

Must complete a background check.

Ground-keeping duties involve the operation of mowers, saws, and other tools.

Able to perform maintenance and corrosive prevention that includes handling paint and other chemicals and adhesives.

Must have a flexible schedule.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

AED Certified preferred.

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Must be able to work in various weather outside during shifts.
-
Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit, and turn/pivot.
-
Lift/lower, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.
-
This is a safety-sensitive position.

Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR).
