Complex Medical Caregiver
Location: Webster, New Hampshire Pay: $20–$26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Available Shifts:
Weekdays: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Weekdays: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Weekends: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Weekends: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Position Summary:
Universal Care Alliance is seeking a dependable and compassionate Complex Medical Caregiver to provide one-to-one support in home and community settings. This position requires someone with a medical or high acuity caregiving background who is comfortable providing hands-on care and completing specialized medical procedures after required training and competency approval.
Responsibilities:
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, hydration, transfers, mobility, and daily routines.
Perform or assist with catheterization and MACE flush procedures after required training and competency approval.
Provide medication support, including prescribed seizure rescue medication, according to written orders.
Monitor for seizures, skin concerns, infections, dehydration, urinary tract infection symptoms, and other changes in condition.
Complete skin checks and support pressure-injury prevention. Use wheelchairs, orthotics, transfer equipment, and other adaptive devices safely. Support medical appointments, errands, and community activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and immediately report health or safety concerns. Follow all emergency procedures, infection-control requirements, allergy precautions, and the individual’s care plan.
Qualifications:
Medical or high-acuity caregiving experience is required.
LNA/CNA, LPN/RN, medical assistant, EMT, nursing student, experienced home health aide, or comparable medical training is preferred.
Experience supporting individuals with complex medical, neurological, seizure, mobility, bowel, bladder, or skin-integrity needs is strongly preferred.
Must complete hands-on medical training and demonstrate competency before working independently.
CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
Must be reliable, calm during emergencies, detail-oriented, and able to follow written medical instructions.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Must successfully complete all required background checks and health screenings.
