Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
- Implement behavior management strategies and provide support for individuals with autism or other behavioral challenges
- Create a safe and clean environment for residents, ensuring adherence to resident rights and privacy
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Transport residents to appointments or outings as needed
Requirements:
-Prefer male/female who can transfer 300 pound man
- Previous experience as a caregiver, nurse, or in a related field is preferred -Experience with a facility and home health preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to follow instructions and work within established systems and protocols
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Understanding of social work principles and practices is a plus -Work locations: League City, TX/ Galveston/ Baytown/ Texas City/ Seabrook, TX
