Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and maintaining gardens to ensure an attractive environment.
- Operate power tools including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and the use of hand tools for various landscaping projects.
- Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to control pests and protect plant health.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, servicing, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Ability to operate power tools safely with proper adherence to safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
