CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join an upscale outpatient surgery center in
Irving, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Surgical Tech looking for a consistent part-time schedule in a professional, high-quality surgical environment.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $55/hour
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Location: Irving, TX
- Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
Surgical Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including:
- Bariatric Surgery
- Spine Surgery
- Laparoscopic Procedures
- Hand Surgery
- General Surgery
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team during procedures while maintaining a sterile field
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team
- Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures
- Follow all infection-control and patient-safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile surgical environment
Requirements
- Current CST certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Recent experience in bariatrics, spine/laparoscopic, hand, and general surgery
- Current required immunizations
- Successful background check
- Successful drug screening
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
