Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring facilities are well-maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods or facilities maintenance will be considered an asset.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
