Overview
Premier Southern California Flatbed Trucking Company seeking skilled and dedicated Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Flatbed, Step Deck, and RGN operations. Training available for Safety First minded driver. Minimum 3 Years Verifiable Experience. $27.75 Hour Minimum plus Quarterly Retention Commission and Safety Bonuses. Paid Vacation and Sick Days.
Duties
- Operate 3-Axle Tractor vehicle with Flatbed and Step Deck trailers for the safe transport of goods through-out Southern California.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details as required by law.
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Must be able to pass back ground security check for Military Base Access and TWIC application.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Experience with flatbeds, step decks, and RGNs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to trucking operations.
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety protocols in freight transport.
