Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are looking for 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work closely with others.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Review medical records and document patient history accurately.
- Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry principles.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review processes is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
