Job Duties
- LPN maintains a safe environment for all residents within a LTC or ALF facility.
- LPN recognizes changing conditions and emergency situation and intervenes appropriately.
- LPN reviews and carries out physician orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- LPN will provide legible, clear written or electronic documentation of all patient care provided, medications administered and the patient's response to care.
- LPN will establish effective relationships with patients, physicians, family/visitors coworkers and superiors.
- LPN will main confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with contracting employer's policies and procedures
- LPN will organize self to carry out visits/shifts and to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- LPN license in state of MD or compact license
- Ability to push, pull and lift 50 pounds
- Nursing Home or ALF experience
- CPR Certification
- TB Testing
