Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:
- Perform maintenance work on all plant equipment, focusing on minor/major electrical repairs needed to maintain, install, and start-up machines, heating systems, compressors, plumbing, etc.
2. Requires extensive knowledge of various electrical trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with general repairs.
3. Operate and use of various types of electrical testing equipment.
4. Troubleshoot electrical and basic PLC systems and communicate with systems providers where needed.
5. Responsible for performing duties specified in schedule as per instructions from supervisor.
- Ability to read/comprehend blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to follow state and local regulations based on current electrical codes.
- General knowledge of robotics and integration from an electrical perspective
- Ability to inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers and circuit boards.

Education and/or Experience: Current Master Electrician License and six months(min) in an industrial setting.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
