Position is anticipated to run from Thursday, August 27th through Wednesday, November 25th.
1.Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred;
2.Graduate training and/or degree in early childhood, elementary education or a related area;
3.Appropriate Massachusetts licensure;
4.Experience at the early childhood and/or elementary school level;
5.Satisfactory, supervised experience within the last five years as a teacher, student teacher, intern, or apprentice in this discipline;
6.Experience with diverse populations and commitment to Wayland’s goals of diversity and inclusion;
7.Possess those personal and professional characteristics necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position. Terms of Employment: In accordance with Pay Guidelines for Substitutes and Temporary Employees and the Agreement Between the Wayland School Committee and the Wayland Teachers' Association, Inc. .
