Overview
We are looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our Autosports company. The individual in this role will be responsible for servicing cars brought into the shop, from basic maintenance and minor repairs to full automobile service. We are seeking a candidate with a background in automotive care and experience with electronic systems maintenance. We are a fun shop with interesting vehicles.
Duties & Responsibilities
·Examine and diagnose vehicles based on customer requests and/or concerns
·Perform basic maintenance including rotating tires, checking fluid levels, and changing oil
·Repair/replace worn parts & systems such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel
systems, sensors, etc.
·Test systems and individual parts to ensure proper working order and/or to evaluate condition
·Identify mechanical and electrical problems using both diagnostic tools and the naked eye
·Determine appropriate repair measures based on research, peer-to-peer examination, and
past experience
·Clearly communicate parts and time required to showroom staff so they can contact customer
·Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately
·Ensure customer satisfactions at all times
Position Requirements
-Basic computer skills
-Verbal communication to relay information to staff
-Good troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
-Detail-oriented
Additiional Preferences
-Ability to work on diesel engines
-Ability to work on vehicle suspensions (lowering/lifting)
-Experience in engine performance
-Completion of automotive programs in service technology
-Work on any model and any vehicle.

Pay: $20.00 - $31.81 per hour
