The Fargo Cork’n Cleaver is looking for a full time experienced addition to their kitchen team.
Successful applicant will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), ability to work well in a fast paced team environment, stable work history (1–2 years same employer) of full service restaurant prep and line cook experience (fast food or health care line prep/cooking experience excluded), able to multi task and have a current Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification
Must be:
- Able to follow and prepare food to specific recipes and company standards.
- Able to successfully pass a credit and criminal background check/bonded. (will be a key holder)
- Able to stand, walk and move about for long periods of time (8 to 10+ hours shifts),
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Able to multi task – able to prepare and present food within the required time period in a fast paced environment to company standards, as well as maintain kitchen readiness and cleanliness.
This is full time 30+ hr position which requires various rotating weekday, weekend, day and evening shifts. Must be able to arrive at work on time for varying scheduled shifts times. (will need reliable transportation; bus schedules do not match shift times ) Based upon business needs and work performance, over time is possible.
