SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO EDITOR (PART-TIME / FREELANCE)
I'm looking for a creative and reliable video editor to help bring my content to life across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
The content will revolve around my everyday life, including golf, hockey, travel, fitness, adventures, nightlife, storytelling, and whatever random experiences I find myself getting into. The goal is to create entertaining, authentic content that feels natural and relatable while keeping viewers engaged from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form videos (15–90 seconds)
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and graphics when appropriate
- Create strong hooks to improve viewer retention
- Help organize footage and identify the best moments from raw clips
- Match edits to current social media trends while maintaining a unique style
- Turn everyday moments into engaging stories
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience editing TikToks, Reels, or YouTube Shorts
- Understands social media and what makes people stop scrolling
- Has a good sense of humor and storytelling
- Creative and willing to offer ideas, not just follow instructions
- Familiar with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software
- Interest in sports, golf, travel, lifestyle content, or content creation is a bonus
This is a flexible freelance/part-time position. Workload will vary depending on content volume, but the goal is to build a long-term relationship with someone who can grow alongside the brand.
