Responsibilities

- Assess learners’ language proficiency levels and customize lesson plans to meet individual needs and career goals.
- Incorporate real-world healthcare scenarios into lessons to enhance practical communication skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve pronunciation, comprehension, and confidence in speaking English within clinical environments.
- Support learners in understanding healthcare documentation, safety procedures, and patient communication standards.
- Track progress through assessments and maintain detailed records of each learner’s development.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness in preparing students for real-world support roles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably with a focus on adult learners or professional language development.
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, procedures, and the communication needs of support staff in medical settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate multimedia tools and practical exercises.
- Certification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with adult education principles and competency-based learning approaches.
