Position Overview
We are seeking a confident and dependable Customer Service & Collections Coordinator to join our team. This position requires someone who can communicate professionally with customers, handle challenging situations with confidence, maintain consistent follow-up, and assist with billing and collections efforts.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with customers in both positive and difficult situations.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and text.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and confidently.
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate service appointments.
- Follow up with customers regarding service requests and outstanding issues.
- Navigate multiple software platforms to manage customer accounts and appointments.
- Assist with billing questions and payment processing.
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and overdue invoices.
- Work with sales representatives and management to resolve payment and customer service issues.
- Maintain accurate customer notes and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to office operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with upset or difficult customers.
- Confident and professional phone presence.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software programs.
- Collections, billing, or accounts receivable experience is a plus.
