We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy bagel and sandwich shop. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and experience managing a fast-paced breakfast and lunch establishment. You'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, leading a dedicated team, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Lead by example and provide exceptional customer service
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
- Create weekly employee schedules and manage labor costs
- Supervise opening and closing procedures
- Ensure fresh bagels, sandwiches, breakfast items, coffee, and deli products meet quality standards
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain inventory levels and order food, beverages, and supplies
- Control food costs, waste, and operating expenses
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor cash handling procedures and daily sales reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment
- Work closely with ownership to improve operations, sales, and guest satisfaction
- Assist on the floor during busy breakfast and lunch rushes when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience (Required)
- Experience managing a high-volume breakfast, deli, café, bagel shop, or sandwich concept preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and food cost control
- Knowledge of POS systems(Square) and restaurant operations
- Food Safety/ServSafe Certification preferred
- Reliable transportation
Schedule
- Full-time
- 45–50 hours per week
- Early morning availability required
