GA Tax Resolution Group is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to support our growing tax resolution practice.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IRS tax matters, tax compliance, tax preparation, financial analysis, and tax resolution strategies. Experience working with individuals and businesses facing IRS or state tax issues is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client tax returns, financial statements, and IRS/state tax notices.
- Identify tax compliance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist with IRS and Georgia Department of Revenue tax resolution cases.
- Prepare or review delinquent and amended tax returns when necessary.
- Analyze client financial information to support installment agreements, Offers in Compromise, penalty abatement, and other resolution strategies.
- Work closely with our tax resolution team to develop the best strategy for each client.
- Communicate complex tax matters clearly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting and/or tax experience.
- Strong understanding of federal and state taxation.
- Tax resolution or IRS representation experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a growing team.
