Position Overview: We are seeking a Hiring Manager to join our team and play a vital role in staffing our events nationwide. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent, managing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), conducting first-round interviews, and ensuring all new hires are properly onboarded into our payroll and scheduling systems.
The Hiring Manager will work closely with the HR Department Lead and Event Staffing Manager to ensure we hire the right people for the right roles at the right time. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment and enjoys building great teams that make every event a success.
Key Responsibilities
- Job Postings & Sourcing: Create and post job descriptions across ATS systems and hiring platforms, including Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Homebase, and Monster.com.
- Interviewing: Conduct first-round interviews to evaluate candidate fit and alignment with company values.
- Candidate Management: Manage and move applicants through the HR hiring pipeline in Active Campaign. Ensure timely and professional communication with all candidates throughout the process.
- Send offer letters and initiate onboarding in Homebase (payroll and scheduling system).
- Ensure all new hires complete forms, verify their I-9s, and sign the Gameday Your Way Employee Handbook.
- Confirm employees add their availability in Homebase for scheduling purposes.
- Compliance & Background Checks: Conduct background screenings as needed and maintain accurate employee documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Event Staffing teams to anticipate staffing needs for upcoming events.
- Meetings & Events: Attend weekly department meetings and participate in job fairs or hiring events as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or event-based environments.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and job platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Homebase, ZipRecruiter, etc.).
- Strong interviewing, communication, and candidate evaluation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
