Mercury Minnesota, Inc. has an opening available for a full-time Welder. In this position, you will be setting up and completing the welding of a variety of sub-assembly and main frame weldment per customer specifications. Heliarc welding requirements are fusion welding and the ability to use filler rods.
Duties in this position include, but are not limited to:
Inspect own work using tapes, calipers, and/or company equipment
Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints and process sheets
Straightening frames and completing some grinding operations to prepare frame for paint
All other duties as assigned
Requirements for this position are:
Experience in MIG welding
Blueprint reading
Inspection
Good communication skills
Ability to multi task
Able to work independently and with a team.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
Pay:
up to $26/hour DOE
