HealthFitness is hiring part-time Lifeguards in Marysville, OH!
Whether you're a student looking for a flexible side job, a retiree wanting to stay active and involved, or anywhere in between, HealthFitness has a great opportunity for you!

We're hiring Part-Time Lifeguards (from 5-29 hrs/week). Work a flexible schedule with hours that align with your availability! Potential shifts fall within the following hours of operation:

Monday - Friday: 5am-6pm

Saturday: 10am-3pm.

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests.

Your Impact:

Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
Attend all required staff meetings and training.
Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. *Site may be able to provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.
Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of:

500 yard swim.
Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.
Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.
Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
