Storage Maintenance Specialists is growing and looking for an experienced Gate & Access Control Technician.

Our technicians support national customers with gate operators, access control systems, CCTV, and facility maintenance. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair automatic gate systems (sliding, swing, operators, motors)
- Install and service access control systems (keypads, card readers, intercoms)
- Perform low-voltage wiring and system integration
- Troubleshoot and maintain CCTV and camera systems
- Respond to service calls and perform preventative maintenance
- Document completed work and communicate with customers and the team
- Complete every job safely, efficiently, and with attention to quality
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with gate systems, access control, low-voltage, or related electrical work
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PTI, OpenTech, DoorKing, LiftMaster, HySecurity, Viking, Linear, FAAC, or similar systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of networking and IP-based systems
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
