We are seeking a mission-driven and operationally strong Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a residential treatment facility focused on serving individuals with substance use disorders. Position Summary
The CEO will serve as the facility’s highest-ranking leader, responsible for overseeing strategy, operations, census growth, team performance, and regulatory compliance. This role demands strong business acumen, emotional intelligence, and a relentless commitment to quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including P&L performance, patient census, regulatory adherence, staffing, and culture.
Directly manage departmental leadership and ensure organizational alignment on core objectives.
Support and lead marketing and admissions strategy to maintain and grow census.
Drive employee engagement, accountability, and leadership development across all departments.
Build a culture of clinical integrity, excellence, and consistency.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies (e.g., Joint Commission, state-level health authorities).
Monitor and improve patient experience, retention, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination.
Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for urgent facility matters or delegate accordingly.
Lead by example in all matters related to communication, culture, operations, and care standards.
Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility in a healthcare setting
Proven track record in census growth, regulatory compliance, and team leadership
Ability to interpret and evaluate clinical documentation and medical necessity
Demonstrated experience supporting or directing marketing and admissions strategies
Plus one of the following:
3+ years leading in a residential behavioral health setting
5+ years in a non-behavioral residential care environment
3+ years in multi-site behavioral outpatient operations
3+ years leading a distinct inpatient hospital or acute care facility

Salary range $150,000 to $200,000 Annaully plus benefits
