Pearlz Oyster Bar has become one of West Ashley's favorite neighborhood gathering places. Located in the heart of the Avondale district, we're known for fresh seafood, handcrafted cocktails, genuine hospitality and the relationships we've built with our guests and community.
Lead one of Charleston's most respected neighborhood restaurants, build an exceptional team and help shape the future of one of South Carolina's most respected hospitality companies.
If you believe great guest experiences begin with great employee experiences, you'll feel right at home. You'll spend your time developing people, leading from the floor, building relationships, solving problems and driving results.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing management and hourly team.
Foster a culture built on hospitality, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining outstanding food, beverage and service standards.
Drive the restaurant's financial success through P&L management, labor planning, inventory and cost controls.
Recruit, hire, train and develop future Homegrown Hospitality Group leaders.
Build relationships throughout the West Ashley community while representing both Pearlz and Homegrown Hospitality Group.
Lead by example, think like an owner and continuously look for ways to improve the business.
Two or more years of successful General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
A passion for coaching, mentoring and developing people.
Strong financial and operational leadership, including P&L management, labor planning and cost controls.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A collaborative leader who leads with humility, accountability and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business demands.

Salary: $68,000–$78,000 annually, based on experience
