Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, listening carefully to their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance services, including estimating costs and timeframes using estimating software
- Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs and explaining benefits effectively
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns-- Communication is a Must.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while maintaining excellent client communication
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service management within a dealership or repair shop environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, wheel alignments, and collision repair
- Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients-- Communication skills are a must for this position.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred; automotive repair and service writing background is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license of at least 3 years with a clean driving record
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
