Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms with attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures using industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public spaces to management for prompt resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrates a strong understanding of customer service standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices can be beneficial for those seeking growth within the team
