Responsibilities
- Anticipate, plan for, and respond to the needs of the patient, surgeon, and other team members
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding patients, patient families, coworkers, and physicians
Qualifications
- Must have current CST, or
- Obtain cert within 12 months of completion of a degree from an accredited school of surgical technology, or
- Provide evidence of employment as a CST prior to July 1, 2009; or
- Must be a current valid licensed practitioner providing evidence of employment as a surg tech
- Healthcare experience preferred
