Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated coach to work as the defensive coordinator for the Richmond High School JV football team for the 2026-2027 season. Must have a good working knowledge of defensive football strategies, as well as competency in key coaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee all responsibilities related to defensive coordinator position
- Assist with drills, workouts and practice flow
- Help with various admin tasks, cleanup and parent, teacher and community relations
Requirements
- Some experience working as a coach or trainer in an organized environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage student athletes
- In-depth knowledge of defensive schemes, techniques, and game strategies
