Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety management, and adherence to health regulations to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Supervise kitchen management tasks including food production, culinary standards, and food handling procedures to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations.
- Manage shift scheduling, customer service standards, and resolve guest concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Conduct profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize restaurant profitability.
- Implement team leadership strategies by interviewing candidates, managing hospitality teams, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Coordinate events as needed while maintaining high-quality food production standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food safety practices, food management processes, and hospitality excellence.
Skills
- Experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation.
- Proven management skills with a background in supervising hospitality teams across casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Proficiency in POS systems for sales transactions and reporting purposes.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures aligned with industry standards.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing candidates, and developing talent.
- Skilled in managing restaurant operations including shift management, kitchen management, catering services, and customer service excellence.
- Ability to analyze profit & loss statements while implementing budgeting strategies for financial health.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality management that inspires teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
