What You Need to Bring (Kansas Requirements):

Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Active (or eligible) Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). (Note: In Kansas, a separate Department of Education teaching certificate is not required for SLPs working in schools!)

Credentials: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Experience: Prior school-based experience is highly preferred (bonus points if you know your way around Kansas IEP processes).

Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating virtual platforms, high-speed internet, and computer technology.
