School Bus Flex Drivers provide bus transportation in the regular driver's absence.
This is a continuous recruitment position. Work hours and assignments will vary.
LPOSD hires Bus Drivers to scheduled routes from the Flex Driver (substitute) pool.
Rate of Pay: $19.12/hour for 2025/26 School Year
All required training is provided by LPOSD

Age 21 or older
Satisfactory driving record
Ability to meet the physical examination standards of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Ability to maintain valid Commercial Driver's License with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements, and air brake qualified
First Aid & CPR Certification (Provided by LPOSD)
Lake Pend Oreille School District reserves the right to close this position prior to the posted Application Deadline at its discretion.
