Advanced Network and Computer Services, Inc. (ANCS) in Evansville, IN needs an EXPERIENCED Help Desk / PC Support Technician. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving computing experiences through effective problem identification and resolution as well as on site replacement of equipment. You will also be responsible for providing great customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Strong PC, application and network troubleshooting skills
- Proven verbal and written communications skills supporting end users in a call center environment and using remote support tools when required
- Top tier customer service skills and a commitment to the quality
- Hands on experience with Windows 7/10, Active Directory and Microsoft Office 2013/2016
- Provide Help Desk support onsite and remote
- Maintain networked computers including new installs, upgrades and imaging
- Utilize remote monitoring and management software to resolve client requests
- Documenting, reviewing and improving existing or new procedures and workflows
- Responding to client support requests, tickets, calls and emails
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 2-3 years of Technical Support experience
- >2 years prior Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
- Experience with end user desktop support in a multi-site, corporate campus environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A+, MCP or similar certification a PLUS
- Application in AutoTask, Connectwise or other Remote Monitoring Management and ticketing systems a PLUS
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider or supporting multiple clients a PLUS
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass Drug Test
- Must be able to pass Background Check
