OVERVIEW
The Bryant Neighborhood Center (BNC) is located within the footprint of the historic Trinity Presbyterian Church, a longstanding place of trust and care in the Hilltop community of Tacoma for more than 100 years. The Bryant Neighborhood Center reopened in 2020 with an enhanced imagination to serve as a community hub for programming in the north end of the Hilltop area and a mission to link residents with high quality resources where young minds learn and grow, relationships are formed, and basic needs are met - all while amplifying residents’ vision for the community. The BNC provides basic needs including a weekly community meal, a free medical clinic, and assistance with utilities, bus passes, and resource navigation. We provide a literacy tutoring program and space for collaborative partnerships with many community-based organizations. The Bryant Neighborhood Center envisions a diverse, connected, and vibrant Bryant Neighborhood with neighbors actively participating in the development of a healthy, just and sustainable community.
